Boss is the main antagonist of FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue. Like Mac, he is a poacher, but he describes himself as "the brains" and Mac as "the big dumb one who does all the dangerous stuff."

Boss also has a terrible fear of bugs.

FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue

Boss and Mac are first seen driving into the forest and kidnapping some animals to be smuggled. He is very cowardly when he and Mac meet the Captain, who was "promised a shipment of birds", and talks his way out of trouble. In the ensuing fight, Slasher and Boof attack Boss down to his underwear and he loses his grip on his ill gotten money. Crysta uses fairy ropes to imprison Boss, Mac and Captain in a tree, where they would be heard from no more. The last they are seen in the film, is when Boss insists that they "hire a plane," at which point Captain finally plucks up the courage to tell him to shut up, and Mac complains that "things couldn't get any worse." Captain concludes that it was low tide, as water floods below them. This defeat is very similar to that of Hexxus in the first Ferngully movie.
